HELLO!

My name is Khettie Chanthaheuang, pronounced as "khet-tee chant-ta-heu-ang". My beginnings start in Concord, NC where I was born to a Laotian father and Irish-descent mother along with two brothers; my family would later move to Albemarle, NC where I spent most of my childhood. I would say that I get my artistic abilities from my father, he was a very talented artist that unfortunately never got to experience a career as one. It's why I find it so important to advance myself on this path so I can fulfill my dreams and perhaps the dreams that my Dad would’ve experienced if he was given the same encouragement in his younger years. Regardless, it has always been my dream to become to an artist, and it’s only now that I’m making that a reality.
